JOANIE I am pretty much like every other girl. Perhaps not that much. I like thinking for my own. One thing I can't tolerate is for people to tell me they know me. I find that terribly arrogant. bolditalicstrikestrong

Little Britain

“Its funny, I actually do feel comfortable. Its like, I’m feeling myself for the very first time. I can get quite use to this”

Meeting Ain is the best thing yet that has happened to me since entering TP. It is almost like rediscovering myself, mostly because now she is soooo into listening to old, nostalgic and ‘O-biang’ songs. She’s got an old soul and so do I, perhaps that’s why we get along so well. Listen to this song to get a feel of how we are like, I’m so excited by the pointer sisters. It is so disco-ish. I love it. I especially like the way they dance.

Tonight there’s Cheerleading I love it. But I am not sure if I should go tonight since I have plenty of stuff that needs to be completed. I just wish Ain could join with me too, because together I know we would have a super fun time. Hahahaha. I love the way she tells jokes with a straight face.

I can’t wait for free time! I want to meet Samantha sometime soon… to get loads of free SK2 samples. Hahahahha. =)

Right now, I am missing all kinds of food. Salmon sushi, white wine pasta, pizza and the chicken rice I’m going to eat with Ain tonight. (Dang I mention Ain’s name too many times I’d realize.) Living is about eating, exercising and shitting. I love doing all these 3 (not concurrently, of course), they make me feel healthy and alive. =)

Oh man, I have to say this again. I LOVE MIKA because he is so Fucking Talented. And I am going to get his CD soon. I just can’t get enough of him.

Finally, here’s a malay song I’ve learned recently.

Dimana dia anak kambing saya.
Anak kambing saya, yang makan daun talas.

Where are you child goat of mine?
Child goat of mine is eating grass.

Sam, you have to read this!(got this from msn)

If you’re an oldest child
It’s no coincidence that most U.S. Presidents were first-borns: This is the sign of natural leaders. You’re a take-charge person, so not the type to drive friends and romantic partners crazy asking questions like, “I dunno where we should eat—where do you want to go?” Instead, you’ll make sure you have reservations—and land a prime table, too. And anyone lucky enough to pair up with you won’t spend weeknights wondering whether he or she has Saturday night plans, because “oldest kids are planners,” says Dr. Leman. You’re also old-fashioned—in a good way. You always come through on anniversaries and Valentine’s Day.
Your love challenge: Being more spontaneous. First-borns aren’t the seize-the-day sort (you’re not one to text your sweetie to suggest meeting at this fun café you just walked past). Likewise, “you hate surprises,” Dr. Leman warns. Pity the fool who springs meeting the parents on you or when you thought it was just the two of you are going out!
Best match: Youngest child. “It’s a case of opposites attracting,” says Dr. Leman. “You help the last-born be more organized, and the last-born helps you lighten up.”

The first part is so not true of you! You do drive me mad with your anything-ness. I hate it when I have to make decision all the time, then have you tell me you’d rather have something else and yet not tell me what exactly it is that you want. But the second part is sooooo you. Always up to planning birthday parties, surprises and all. =) making people feel very special, just because.

Nothing much just came across this which reminds me of you.

I LOVE SCHOOL!!!

I love TP… I’ll bet, it is the most happening polytechnic in Singapore. True, some of my lecturers may be weird, but generally they are personable and smart as whip, or maybe it is just because they are lawyers. I love Ain tooooo; she has made life in school so much more enjoyable.

ANYWAY! I saw V just now when Ain said hi to him. I gave him a weak smile when he looked over at me. He smiled too.

Ok, here’s what some people say of him, Sam thinks he looks like a prata man. Ain thinks he looks like someone’s father. I disagree on both counts. Sookie thought he looks like a bollywood star, now that I agree only that now he’s put on weight so…

Hmmm… thinking about it now, I really haven’t got the faintest idea what on earth is it about him that attracts me so in the past, or maybe I do. Let’s see, I remember the first time I saw him was outside of school, at that time I just realize where my interests in guys lies, with fair Indians like him, so it was a pretty bad crush. I’m not going to justify my attraction to them, I just find them attractive. People make jokes when they don’t understand why I am attracted to guys out of my race, I just laugh with them. I’m not offended because I know that they just don’t understand, like how I don’t understand why some hot girls are attracted to weird guys.

I remember thinking that he looks so much like Jake Gyllenhaal and when I look into his eyes, wow, so mesmerizing. (Am listening to The First Time by Surface) Hahahaha. Sound damn dramatic. But really, he’s got nice eyes.

Listening to Leaving on a Jet Plane by Chantal Kreviazek, introduced by Ain. Boy, it is really good, it is also OUR song. How Cool. =) Also, I want to recommend song other songs.

I finally found someone by Babara Striesands and Brian Adam &
Secret Garden—the jerry Maguire version both songs introduced by Sam. I love them, so Emo.

Also songs by Mika, John Denver and Alanis Morrissette (they are all so Fucking Talented!!!). Also, also another of my current favourite, dancing in the moonlight.

Going to meet my Bestie now.

I Love the people I Love, you know who you are... gotta scoot...

Wow! –Takes in a Deep Breath while I Savour the Moment-

It’s such a major contrast; I cannot help but really appreciate what I am enjoying now. Last year when everything seems down and out, this year, everything… seems so hopeful, bright and positive.

New class with great classmates, I even have a buddy in class, Ain. Someone whom I am so super comfortable with, I can almost weep with joy. We went to eat and explore Arab Street today, which is super fun. Leaving choir is the best decision I’ve made this year and joining cheerleading might just be the second best.

Everything is great, I have my family, my best friend and Sam. I am appreciative of everything and everyone in my life. Thank you. =)

p.s. having cheerleading in a while.
